An unidentified Hearst/MGM newsreel crew sets up for a shoot for Ed Murrow’s See It Now at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation on January 21, 1958.

Looking Skyward | Murrow's See it Now at Hanford

see_it_now_34An unidentified member of Ed Murrow’s See It Now crew looks skyward while setting up for a shoot at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation on January 21, 1958.

The See It Now photographers and soundmen actually worked for the newsreel MGM’s News of the Day and were farmed out to CBS to shoot stories for Murrow’s show.

If anyone can identify this unidentified newsman, please leave a comment below. The known MGM crew that worked for Murrow was  Edmund Scott, Norman Alley, Martin “Marty” Barnett, John Bockhorst, Donald Gies, Robert Huttenloch, Charles Mack, Charles “Chic” Peden, Robert Pierpoint and Leo Rossi.
